TEN
CryptoPunk #7804 Price: $7,57,000,000

Larva Labs CryptoPunks is the first name on our list of the top 10 most expensive NFTs ever, and it will appear frequently throughout the list. These avatars’ value, like that of other collectible NFTs, is based on the market’s demand and rare characteristics. CryptoPunk #7804 is the only “cap forward” punk with a pipe and small shades, and he has three other traits as well. Being one of only 9 alien punks in a series of 10,000, this one is extremely uncommon.

NINE
The cost of CryptoPunk #3100 is $7.58 million.

It’s not surprising to see an alien on the list of top-selling NFTs of all time given that there are only nine alien CryptoPunks currently on the blockchain. A user by the name of straybits.eth bought CryptoPunk #3100 in March 2021. This NFT is unique not only because it is an alien but also because it is one of only 406 punks who wear headbands. Although recent offers have not exceeded thousands of dollars, much less millions, the owner is currently asking $44.4 million for the NFT. Someone made an offer of $87.64 million in October 2021, but they later withdrew it.

EIGHT
The cost of CryptoPunk #5577 is $7,7 million.

CryptoPunk #5577, a rare ape from Larva Labs, sold in February 2022 for $7.7 million. It is one of just 24 gorillas and 142 punks wearing cowboy hats. The CEO of Compound Finance, Robert Leshner, is said to have bought it. Someone made a $4.92 million offer for it in July 2022, but it was not accepted.

SEVEN
The cost of CryptoPunk #4156 is $10.23 million.

One of only 24 Ape punks ever made, CryptoPunk #4156 was sold to an unidentified buyer for $10.23 million in December 2021. Since only 333 punks have that many attributes, the punk is uncommon because it only has one. In July 2022, the punk was sold once more. For just $3.31 million this time. On the punk, there is currently a bid of $15,892. This demonstrates that NFTs are susceptible to the crypto winter as well as other factors, and their price growth is not a given.

SIX
Tpunk #3442 $10.5 million is the cost.

Tpunk #3442 is one of 10,000 NFTs traded on the Tron blockchain, and it is modeled after the Joker from the Batman series. It has green hair and a wide smile. Tpunks were created to resemble CyberPunks in terms of appearance and, ideally, popularity. Even though some people might not consider pixelated heads to be “art” in the traditional sense, collectors are very interested in them and pay high prices for them. In August 2021, Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, bought this NFT. He tweeted about giving the NFT to the ApenFT Foundation.

FIVE
CryptoPunk #7523 Price: $11.7 million

A rare alien, CryptoPunk #7523 is even rarer because he wears a COVID-era facemask. This quality is only possessed by 175 punks. In addition, Punk #7523 wears an earring and a knitted cap. This purchase is notable not only for its high price but also for not occurring on the blockchain. A collector by the name of “Sillytuna” bought it through Sotheby’s Natively Digital Auction in June 2021.

FOUR
CryptoPunk #5822 is $23.7 million.

In addition to being the third-highest selling NFT of all time, CryptoPunk #5822, a light blue alien with a blue bandanna, is also the most expensive CryptoPunk to emerge from Larva Labs. The 10,000 distinct characters in the CryptoPunks collection are listed on the Ethereum blockchain. Initially, anyone with an Ethereum wallet could get CryptoPunks for no cost. 10,000 of the 8-bit-style faces were created by developers Matt Hall and John Watkinson, but only 9,000 were made available to the general public.
The majority of the characters are people, but there are also some apes, zombies, and aliens. It’s understandable that #5822, one of just 9 aliens to date, fetched such a high price from Chain CEO Deepak Thapliyal, who bought the NFT in February 2022 and immediately tweeted a picture of his purchase.

THREE
The cost of Beeple’s Human One is $28.9 million.

Beeple is a digital artist who makes animated, dynamic art in both NFT and physical forms. An NFT and an electronic sculpture are combined in Human One. In November 2021, the items were sold at Christie’s 21st Century Evening Sale.

TWO
The Censored Price of Julian Assange and Pak: $55 million

An international group known as AssangeDAO is fighting for Julian Assange’s release from the U.S. prison where he could receive a sentence of 175 years. To buy this Pak-created art collection, the DAO raised $55 million in Ethereum. Pak then gave the money from the sale on February 7, 2022 to help pay for Assange’s legal defense. A component of the collection, the NFT Clock, is alone worth $52.7 million. The NFT displays a clock counting down the number of days Assange has been imprisoned.

ONE
Beeple’s Everydays: The First 5,000 Days Price: $69.3 million

Vignesh Sundaresan purchased Beeple’s Everydays: The First 5,000 Days at a Christie’s online auction. The crypto investor later told Cryptoslate that he purchased the piece to show people of color, and especially Indians, that they could also become art patrons. Additionally, the purchase helped to put NFTs on the worldwide radar as viable investments. Sundaresan, who now owns the most expensive NFT, told CryptoSlate that the purchase was also a way to “give back to the system that provided so much to me.”
