Kraken offers free gas for NFTs

A beta of Kraken’s gas-free NFT marketplace is now available. Users can trade non-fungible tokens on the market without paying any transaction fees or network charges.

By using the exchange’s “full solution for browsing, curating, and safeguarding NFT collections,” customers would initially have access to 70 of the most popular NFT projects built on Ethereum and Solana.

The marketplace will also have extra services including an NFT aggregator that lets platform users explore and purchase things posted on other markets.
Kraken will also support creator royalties, unlike other markets that have implemented optional creator rewarding systems. The platform does this in an effort to pay creators for their time and labor.

For all supported NFT collections, rarity scores will also be available.
The Kraken Marketplace is dedicated to assisting artists and collectors.
The exchange said in a press release that it would be collecting royalties on behalf of creators and distributing them after the identity of the collection’s originator has been confirmed. By collection, however, the precise percentage will change.

Kraken’s strategy will alter over time when “options that better benefit the NFT community come up,” since the NFT market is still developing.

As previously noted, those who have joined the waiting list are currently the only people who can access the NFT marketplace. The beta will, however, be made publicly accessible by the exchange “soon after.”

After a strong performance in 2021, NFTs have fallen victim to the bear market. Many collectors saw the value of their holdings fall to nearly nothing. Kraken’s choice to open a market for digital collections, however, demonstrates its conviction that NFTs are “more than a speculative asset.”
