Vintage Fashion coming to metaverse and NFTs

Genuine vintage clothing is being introduced to the metaverse by a brand-new company called MNTGE. The company’s goal is to create digital replicas of expensive fashion items so they may be used in the metaverse.

Entrepreneur and Snoop Dogg’s brand manager Nick Adler created MNTGE, which is pronounced “mintage.” To make the concept a reality, he has teamed up with Sean Wotherspoon and Brennan Russo. Russo is a former Adidas marketing manager, while Wotherspoon owns a streetwear shop and designs sneakers.

Adler asserts that the inspiration struck him and Russo while they were inside Wotherspoon’s store. They started debating the concept and recognized an opening in the potential fusion of vintage clothing with NFTs. Although they are different items, they each have distinctive qualities that appeal to customers.

The internet fashion startup’s official debut comes this Wednesday. In order to bridge the gap between real-world vintage clothing and NFTs, the company will also include an Ethereum NFT called MNTGE Pass. Digital wearables that can be used on many metaverse platforms will be the final product.

The business also intends to create a community for supporters of streetwear and fashion. Real vintage finds will be prioritized for these people.

By Q1 2023, MNTGE intends to release digital fashion items.
The business has a number of plans once the MNTGE Pass is introduced. By the first quarter of 2023, the first will be a drop of digital fashion that Wotherspoon has carefully selected. People will be able to observe the type of technology the business is implementing as a result. similar to employing top-notch capture equipment, the kind that are used to produce digital doubles of actors in motion pictures. It will be possible to replicate actual old clothing using this technology.

“A level of detail and ingenuity that you wouldn’t have anticipated in a Web3 garment before,” claims Wotherspoon of the startup.
