Play Dookey Dash for free! A guy (@tropoFarmer) is renting his sewer pass through a delegated wallet

Dookey Dash has been out for a week, but the excitement surrounding Yuga Labs’ skill-based endless runner-style game hasn’t subsided. Everyone appears to want to try their hand at the trending new Bored Ape Yacht Club game, from casual players to competitive players (and even those willing to hire out for a high score). Who can blame them, though? Sales of NFT increased by more than 40% in January. BAYC-related assets are in the lead, accounting for a sizeable share of the month’s overall NFT volume of ETH.

However, not everyone is able to access the sewers. You see, general NFT enthusiasts don’t have any means to enter the well-liked game without either claiming a Sewer Pass (which is only available to BAYC/MAYC holders), or purchasing one for roughly 3 ETH (upwards of $4,500) on secondaries. That is, they didn’t until just lately, when a well-known NFT collector decided to take it upon himself to make the game more approachable.

TropoFarmer is a technique
Not a sewer pass? Borrow one instead. Anonymous NFT influencer and collector tropoFarmer has come up with a method to let other BAYC fans to use his Sewer Pass to complete some Dookey Dash missions. He generated and assigned a brand-new MetaMask hot wallet as a delegate for the cold wallet where his Sewer Pass is stored using Delegate Cash, a service trusted by Yuga Labs. By doing this, he came up with a practical solution to use his Sewer Pass without ever bringing it out of storage.

Users merely need to import the wallet’s particular private key into their MetaMask extension, connect the wallet to the Dookey Dash website, and then play to access tropo’s hot wallet. He requests that his followers refrain from sending NFTs or cryptocurrency to the hot wallet or utilizing it for anything other than Dookey Dash play in order to maintain the security and accessibility of his Sewer Pass loan system.

For those who attempt to accept Tropo’s invitation, be sure to read our six strategies for getting a high score. It should be emphasized, however, that one individual can only play Dookey Dash with his hot wallet at a time, which is a significant restriction regardless of how generous and effective the tropoFarmer approach is. There is still still hope for those who may want to find a different way to play the game without having to pass any hoops.

Availability of Dookey Dash
You can always watch if you can’t play. Even if there aren’t many Web3 game streamers, those who have embraced the cause of bringing NFT gaming content to Twitch and YouTube have been consistently attacking Dookey Dash. To find out who is streaming Dookey Dash and what kind of scores they are getting, go to Twitter, search for “Dookey Dash,” and then scroll through the video part of the results. Enthusiasts can watch complete playthroughs thanks to Benzinga, The Schiller, and George NFTs to get right to viewing. Visit Twitch to see the game being streamed live by OnChainTV founder Morgan, PaperApe, and others for a more in-the-moment experience.

Even if watching others play won’t get you any closer to taking part in the ongoing BAYC mint and possibly obtaining a rare NFT in the future (more on that here), sometimes being able to take part in the culture being established on the blockchain is sufficient. In the end, application cases involving money and art are only a small portion of the underlying value of Web3 and NFTs.
