Enjin Coin Blockchain for gaming and NFTs launching today

The Enjin community is eagerly anticipating the launch of the Enjin Blockchain on September 13th. This development aims to strengthen the NFT gaming ecosystem and democratize access to NFTs. It will unify the Enjin and Efinity communities under the ENJ token, enhancing the NFT marketplace experience.

The transition to the new blockchain involves several key changes. The Efinity Matrixchain will merge with the Enjin Matrixchain, becoming the initial matrixchain on the Enjin Blockchain. The Enjin Coin (ENJ) will shift from ERC-20 to the substrate-based Enjin Blockchain at a 1:1 ratio, and Efinity Tokens (EFI) will be exchanged for ENJ at 4:1.

The Enjin Blockchain will introduce core features to simplify governance and staking processes, fuel tanks, and managed wallets. These updates are expected to enhance user engagement in the NFT space.

The transition from Efinity to the Enjin Matrixchain will be seamless, with all existing data carried over and Substrate EFI automatically converting to native ENJ. The Enjin app layer will integrate effectively with the new blockchain, offering an improved user experience and access to features like Beams.

This launch is poised to stimulate growth and innovation in the NFT sector. The Enjin Blockchain distinguishes itself by embedding essential NFT functions directly into its core code, foregoing the use of smart contracts. It offers a comprehensive suite of blockchain tools and solutions for developers, businesses, and individual users.

Enjin has established partnerships with industry leaders like Microsoft, Square Enix, and Entropia Universe, as well as numerous game and app developers, covering a wide range of projects. The Enjin Blockchain holds the promise of expanding NFT accessibility and engagement.

The Enjin Blockchain is set to launch, aiming to democratize access to NFTs and enhance the NFT gaming ecosystem. This transition involves key changes and improvements to user engagement.
