Immutable joins Amazon Web Services for Web3 gaming space

Blockchain gaming leader Immutable has entered into a significant collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This partnership is poised to revolutionize the blockchain gaming infrastructure, setting the stage for increased innovation and growth in the sector.

Immutable, a frontrunner in the blockchain gaming sphere, is joining Amazon’s Independent Software Vendors Accelerate Program. This program offers a host of benefits, paving the way for global collaborations with AWS sellers.

AWS, renowned for its dynamic cloud computing offerings, brings the potential to enhance Immutable’s technical capabilities. AWS’s flexible infrastructure will enable game studios to effectively manage fluctuating user demands and in-game activities.

Immutable’s integration into the expansive AWS network creates a valuable opportunity for engagement with potential game studio partners. This partnership aims to accelerate the widespread adoption and evolution of the Web3 gaming space, both technically and commercially.

For Immutable to secure a position in the Independent Software Vendors (ISV) Accelerate Program, it had to meet stringent industry benchmarks and successfully complete a meticulous assessment. Immutable has also committed to certain prerequisites, including signing a non-disclosure agreement, undergoing a comprehensive business review, and ensuring a minimum of $350,000 in AWS revenue via the partner network annually.

This collaboration will remain purely professional, with Amazon not engaging with Immutable X’s native token, IMX.

Game developers working with Immutable can now access AWS Activate, which provides valuable perks like technical guidance, referral opportunities, and AWS credits worth up to $100,000.

John Kearney, the head of sales at AWS, emphasized the rapid growth of Web3 gaming, a burgeoning sub-sector that is captivating millions of gaming enthusiasts worldwide.

In a related context, Ava Labs also partnered with AWS earlier this year, with the aim of accelerating blockchain adoption across various sectors, including enterprises, governments, and institutions.
