Breaking new ground in the music industry, the Grammy-nominated electronic music duo Disclosure, comprised of Guy and Howard Lawrence, is venturing into the world of NFTs with their latest project. The duo has unveiled the Disclosure Bronze Editions, a collection of 1,000 unique NFTs featuring an AI-generated version of their track “Simply Won’t Do” from the “Alchemy” album, released in July 2023. Available on Beatport’s NFT marketplace, each NFT is priced at $20 and grants exclusive ownership of a one-of-a-kind track rendition.
In this innovative collaboration, artificial intelligence plays a pivotal role in crafting multiple iterations of the track, each imbued with Disclosure’s distinctive sound and character. The Bronze AI technology, a generative music engine, reimagines existing music compositions, providing a unique and personalized experience for NFT owners. Exclusive artwork from the German art collective Studio Grotesk enhances the appeal of each NFT.

This isn’t Disclosure’s first encounter with Bronze AI; a previous collaboration marked the 10th anniversary of their debut album “Settle” with an endless mix created using the same technology. Renowned for their fusion of garage, house, and funk, Disclosure has influenced the electronic music scene since their emergence in the early 2010s. With three Grammy-nominated albums, the duo continues to push boundaries.
By embracing NFTs, Disclosure seeks to redefine music production and distribution, merging AI technology with the evolving NFT market. This initiative allows artists to explore new revenue streams and engage with fans on a deeper level by selling music directly as NFTs, circumventing traditional music industry channels. Simultaneously, fans gain a more intimate connection with artists, owning a unique piece of their work and enjoying exclusive perks such as early releases, private events, and behind-the-scenes access. The Disclosure Bronze Editions exemplify the intersection of creativity, technology, and fan engagement in the modern music landscape.
