Resigning with NFT, quite an original move by former Mastercard Product Lead

According to a recent letter and Twitter thread by Satvik Sethi forme MAstercard Project Lead, he faced a number of difficulties during his time at a large corporation. Despite moving from New York to London, Sethi saw a significant decrease in his salary due to visa issues, which resulted in an increase in workload. This forced him to take on additional jobs to make ends meet.

In his letter, Sethi stated that he experienced harassment and emotional distress due to mismanaged processes, miscommunication, and internal inefficiency within the company. He also claimed that there were times when he had to beg for his salary to be paid, among other issues.

As a result of the salary cut, Sethi was unable to secure housing as a single-income immigrant in London and had to resort to staying in various Airbnbs for over a year. Furthermore, when Sethi attempted to resign, he faced additional challenges.

Sethi mentioned that he will be based in India for the time being, until he is able to secure suitable employment. He was forced to leave the UK after losing his work visa upon quitting his job.

In the future, Sethi is focusing on his art and has his own Web3 social networking and community-building site, joincircle, which has already garnered over 90,000 signups and partnerships with over 35 communities.

In related news, Mastercard has been making moves in the Web3 and NFT space in recent years, including enabling NFT trading for a variety of platforms.
