Immutable, a pioneer in zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM), has unveiled its partnership with Transak as the primary payment service provider. This collaboration marks an expansion in payment services within the gaming realm, incorporating both fiat and Web3-based transactions.
The integration of Transak into Immutable’s gaming infrastructure brings additional payment options, encompassing on-ramp, off-ramp, and NFT payment services. These services facilitate transactions through credit/debit cards and digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Immutable Checkout, a dynamic feature empowering game developers with a configurable interface, will play a pivotal role in integrating these payment options seamlessly into games, enhancing user engagement and convenience.
The initial phase of Transak’s integration will focus on Immutable’s flagship Web3 games, including Guild of Guardians, Gods Unchained, and Cross The Ages. As a well-established payments infrastructure provider, Transak is already utilized by over 350 applications, including major Web3 wallets like MetaMask, Ledger, and Trust Wallet.
Transak’s extensive services are active in numerous games, including Decentraland and Splinterlands, offering more than 20 payment methods across 160 countries. The transaction fees, ranging from 0.49% to 3.49%, depending on the payment method and country, will be subject to custom pricing as part of the agreement with Immutable, ensuring affordability and efficiency.
Notably, Transak’s infrastructure supports payments for over 170 cryptocurrencies across 75 blockchains, making Immutable gaming platforms accessible and user-friendly on a global scale.
