Mocopi will support content producers working on animation and film, including VTubers (virtual YouTube streamers). “Mocopi” Wearables are released by Sony Japan for the Metaverse. Sony Group, a major player in the Japanese electronics market, has announced Mocopi, a line of wearable motion trackers intended to take consumers into the metaverse via their phones. Six wearable sensors called Mocopi are worn by the user around their wrists, ankles, head, and hips and are used to animate avatars in various metaverse apps on Android or iPhone smartphones. In January, the Mocopi kit will be offered in Japan at a price of 49,500 ($360). Motion can be recorded with Mocopi without the need for any additional hardware. It can swiftly create virtual characters and send character movement information to third-party 3D animation software. You can export your animations from Mocopi for the metaverse and augmented reality to other programs like Unity and MotionBuilder thanks to a Sony plugin. Sony claims that Mocopi would support content producers working on animation and film, including VTubers (virtual YouTube streamers).
